Recognizing the invaluable role that engineers with practical expertise to play in enriching our academic community, this initiative of establishment of Center for Engineering Excellence arises from our commitment to meet the evolving demands to bridging the gap between academic advancement and practical application.

The CEE aims to better integrate practical expertise in education and research on campus, foster collaboration between industry and academia, and elevate the international recognition of engineering qualifications in alignment with national and regional strategies, particularly within the Greater Bay Area. Another objective of CEE is to enrich student education through engineers’ involvement in their thesis and project supervision preparing graduates to understand real-world practice, become industry-ready professionals with both technical expertise and practical skills.
